Princess Atun escapes her uncle's palace in Samarkand, making way to the king's palace in Asfahan after refusing Nasser-Khan's request to marry his nephew, Ahmad-Khan. She meets Jurth Al Souk who tells her about an entourage going to Asfahan. Meanwhile, Nermin sneaks her way into the carriage with the queen's escorts.
