When the spaceship of certain aliens breaks down stranding them on the planet Earth they are forced to observe the activities of the earthlings who are partly students at a film School and are busy filming using avantgarde and experimental techniques. The aliens are witness to a surreal setting from afar and may be mischaracterizing what they are seeing. Who knows? The aliens are quite fluffy by the way.
