Documentary | André Chaix is the name engraved in the plaster of an old village house in the Drôme region, near Dieulefit. The person who lives there now is Hervé Le Tellier, who investigated this young resistance fighter, his love life, and his tragic fate, and wrote a book about him. Through it, the writer questions the spirit of resistance; the courage of some, the cowardice of others, the indifference of many to barbarism and fascism, which persists under increasingly transparent masks. This is the main interest of this documentary, which draws lessons from history for the present.
