EPISODE 1.1 (So Far So Good) | Open in IMDB | | / rating? (0)

Comedy, Drama | On his 50th birthday, Ariel tries to celebrate with something as simple as an avocado breakfast... but in his house, nothing is simple. Olga, his wife, is a hyperactive executive juggling calls in multiple languages while organizing store openings in Dubai and Lisbon, and somehow finds time to correct Ariel's look while giving him instructions. Their children orbit like chaotic satellites: Beca, a dramatic teenager, lives in a constant state of aesthetic and emotional crisis; Gregor, a preteen, retreats into his musical world, endlessly repeating the same melody on the piano; Leo, the eldest, moves to his own rhythm and uses the family car to take cats-whom Ariel despises-to be neutered. Amid twin babies, ever-changing nannies, and unwanted pets, Ariel navigates an endless hallway-the central artery of a home where no one seems to notice it's his birthday. Meanwhile, a call with his mother's caregiver hints at a brewing conflict: vague remarks, veiled complaints, and a relationship strained by long-standing tensions with his father, José. Ariel tries to dodge the conversation, but it's clear that his bond with them is fragile and full of gray areas, foreshadowing the domestic invasion he will face in the next episode. Caught between small daily defeats and this silent threat, he also faces Olga's insistence that he attend a ceremony and accept an award he doesn't want, reinforcing his resistance to other people's rituals and anything that disrupts his fragile balance.
