Yuki, a middle school student from a traveling theater troupe, changes schools every month, a routine that has accustomed him to loneliness. He no longer expects to make friends. One day, he is asked to deliver a message to Ken, a brilliant but marginalized student. They discover they have something in common: loneliness. A friendship is born.
