"E Ticket Ride" is a heart-warming film about two best friends who stumble blindly through life in search of some shred of purpose. Aided by a few quirky friends, they quickly learn that what you think you want is not always what you need, and what you need may be right there in front of you. Wesley is 19, awkward, and gay. Garret is 20 and, to all casual observers, every bit the opposite. Wesley works at an amusement park where he sells tickets to the roller coaster he himself is too afraid to ride. Wesley is afraid of a lot of things. Mostly of losing his best friend if his true feelings towards him ever come to the surface. While Garret appears to be slightly more composed, he has similar struggles of his own. He finds himself lost when away from the company of his quirky best friend, but refuses to give in to the fact that he may not be the womanizing surfer boy he's worked so hard to be. With both having fears of taking the first step, they resign to the fact that they may never experience true love, their own E Ticket Ride. Told with a backdrop of surf and sand, hot guys and gals, E Ticket Ride is quirky, sexy and irresistibly fun.
