Tung Ho and Chulin meet when he is released from jail, where he is held after beating up the ship's Captain Salvador to try and find the whereabouts of Chulin. Tung Ho and Chulin get to know each other. Meanwhile, Maria is most unhappy to have Chulin around, and Tung Ho gets a little jealous of Leonardo. Chulin starts to learn about the Cuban way of life on a plantation. Juan Carlos Nestor plots to bring trouble for Leonardo. Leonardo discovers that Chulin has a special skill. Before they marry, Tung Ho promises to show Chulin the dangerous activities he and Leonardo are undertaking. Chulin gets shocked.
