In the city of Hanno, Aoi Yukimura, a girl who has difficulty socializing with her classmates, is approached by her childhood friend, Hinata Kuraue, who invites her to go mountain climbing like they used to. Despite having a fear of heights, Aoi is reluctantly dragged by Hinata to her house to plan a mountaineering expedition.
