A hearing impaired dancer is given the opportunity of fulfilling her life long dream of dancing on stage when she meets a young violinist. Valerie has been told her whole life that she is not able to do what she loves because of her disability. She loves to dance and can feel the music, but no one is willing to give her a chance. Douglas on the other hand is an incredibly gifted violinist who is technically brilliant, but lacks the heart and passion needed to bond with the music. In an unlikely pairing, both do not realize the true potential and ability that they have until they meet one another, which culminates with Valerie dancing on stage to Douglas' violin.
