"Survival of the fittest.": After fleeing Cardiff, a young woman, Alys, and her ten-year-old son, Daniel, must adjust to their new lives in a small West Wales town. Alys will do what ever it takes to survive, and makes her son a promise that she will fulfill his dream of one day becoming an astronaut.
