Short, Comedy | Little Moritz, on a dark day, decides to leave this valley of tears and take a dip in the big blue sea, when a boat, attached to the shore, encourages him to leave at random in the waves towards his ultimate destiny. The latter, kindly, takes him to the island of Bonotopoffs where a kind native offers him the most welcoming hospitality and, although they do not speak the same language, they understand each other perfectly. However, the king, upon discovering his new subject, judges him tender and ruddy and decides to do him the honors, roasted and surrounded by chili peppers, from the royal table. Little Moritz, the object of not very reassuring demonstrations, becomes the prey of the greatest terror when he sees himself placed between the two erected stakes of the national roastery. Now, the king's daughter came to pass by and found the condemned man very much to her liking. The unfortunate man is allowed his life and marries his benefactress. This is how our hero becomes king of the Bonotopoffs.
