Drama | Czarny is the pseudonym of a man around 30. He returns to his home village after a dozen years away from a large city, where he works in a well-paid job. He left immediately after graduating from high school. The departure was connected to the experiences of the then-young Czarny after his mother had a nervous breakdown when his father began seeing another woman, and later, by setting fire to a church, he committed suicide. Czarny wants to take a break from his intense work in Warsaw and focus on finishing his previously abandoned doctoral dissertation. On his first day, he meets a teenage girl, Ola, who claims to be his half-sister. She claims that his father had a child with her mother. And she is that child. Initially, Czarny refuses to believe it, but gradually he begins to feel the need to seek out the truth. He meets his old friend from elementary school, Kania, who built a house, got married, and has a young son. Seeing the luxury car Czarny drove, Kania decides it could be a good lure for girls. He suggests Czarny go to a local disco. There, Czarny meets Renata, who catches her eye. Renata is considered a "slut." Czarny repairs an old motorcycle and reminisces about old haunts. Czarny begins seeing Ola more and more often. They become closer, which begins to outrage the village community. Ola's mother is very pious in her own opinion, which doesn't stop her from having sexual encounters with the local priest. A thorn in the side of Ola's mother and grandmother is her lack of refinement and rebellion, symbolized by her escape into the world of anti-Catholic books, especially "The Satanic Bible." She has also been berating her and behaving strangely. When her mother finds the book in Ola's room, she is shocked. Fearing that her daughter has fallen into the clutches of a satanic cult, she asks the priest for help. The priest declares the girl possessed and calls for an exorcist.
