Kaede is a short-haired boyish looking video director who at age thirty is still looking for a permanent gig and a boyfriend. She works at a small video production company. She is using an app to find a date, but she is not clicking with anybody. She comes into contact with an employee of one of her customers and things change. Her father also re-enters her life.
